Clemente tops Class 2010.
Ernestking P. Clemente was the valedictorian for the SY 2009-2010. He beat the other 676 graduates during the 101st Commencement Exercises held at the school quadrangle, March 31.
He received the Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo Award for Academic Excellence and Leadership, the Philippine Senate Gold Medal Award for Academic Excellence, Gerry Roxas Leadership Award, Mayor Alfredo Lim Gold Medal Award for Academic Excellence, Former Congressman Harry Angping Gold Medal for Academic Excellence, Golden Success Gold Medal for Academic Excellence, the Principal’s Gold Medal for Academic Excellence and the C. Arellano Alumni Valedictorian Pin.
He passed the college entrance test of the University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University.

TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte- The Chronicler won First Place as Best in Editorial Page at the 2010 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) held at Tagum City, Davao del Norte on Feb. 22-26.
The victory capped a very successful run of the official English Newspaper of C. Arellano High School. starting with wins at the Regional Secondary Schools Press Conference: 4th Place in Literary-Features Page; 5th Place in Sports page and 6th Place in Editorial Page.
At the T. Valencia Cup Search for Outstanding School Paper, the Chronicler romped away with victories in Layout, 6th Place; 7th Place in Sports Page and 8th Place in News Page.
Meanwhile, Gelica Rose Tulauan had strings of victories as member of the National Capital Region (NCR) Broadcasting Team. Her team copped First Place finishes as Best in Broadcasting; Best in Script; Best in Informercial;Best in Technical Application. She also won First Place as Best in Scriptwriting and Second Place as Best News Presenter. Tulauan earned four medals and the same number of certificates.
Marlon Ramos Jr, CAHS bet in Pagsulat ng Balitang Isports,completed the BIG DAY for C. Arellano High School when he scored a Fourth Place finish. Ramos received a trophy and a certificate.
C. Arellano High School became the Cinderella of the Manila delegation with its strong showing.
Mr. Mario Arocha, the adviser of the Chronicler, holds the trophy during the award rites for the group (newspaper) contest.

CAHS Journalism ranks 2nd over-all in Manila
For two consecutive years, the C. Arellano High School Journalism won second place over-all in the Manila Secondary Gawad Pamahayagan Scholastic Journalism during the award ceremony at Ramon Magsaysay High School, March 23.
The CAHS English Journalism copped first place while its Filipino counterpart took second.

CAHS observes 89th
Foundation Day
A solemn mass preceded the day-long celebration of the 89th Foundation anniversary of C. Arellano High School, on March 2.
Principal Henry Panela, accompanied by Mr. Gamaliel de Armas, president of the alumni association and its officers and members, led the floral offering on the monument of Cayetano Arellano.
Exhibition games and field demonstrations capped the festivity.
